In February it was announced that if you pre-order Battlefield 3 you will get the "Back To Karkand" expansion pack at no extra charge. The Back to Karkand expansion pack will include four legendary maps, vehicles, and weapons from Battlefield 2. These maps include Wake Island, Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman, and Sharqi Peninsula. No details relating to what vehicles or weapons will be ported to Battlefield 3.

Battlefield 3 will have a demo before the game is released at the end of this year. The confirmation comes from BF3's executive producer Patrick Bach in an interview with MSXbox-World. A release date for the demo was not confirmed though. In fact, we still don't have a release date for the actual game either.
In the interview Bach also commented on the BF3's Co-Op mode which will be separate from both single-player and multiplayer. To see everything he had to say check out the whole interview here.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is coming Nov. 8, 2011, Kotaku has learned, delivering with it mammoth battles that engulf a dozen cities around the world including New York, Paris and London.
Multiple sources have shared details of the game's story, art, sounds and game modes with Kotaku, noting that the game will reshape the landscape of the Call of Duty franchise, bringing an impressive number of eclectic settings, deep multiplayer gaming and a story that ties up nearly all loose ends from previous titles, including the final moments of key figures in the series' history.
