There have only release this many games with engine recycling. (low-cost) They don't have the budget to develop a new engine, that's why we have only see a few concept screens and an apparent leaked video. It's a dream lads the game will never be finished IMO. |

From 2002-2005 its OK and legit in my eyes to use the same (modified) engine , its like Call of Duty, same engine since years. Combined Arms is just a a bundle of both old JO games.
So the newest game, DFX2 is the only one which use an old engine just to make money. (FAILED)
I really dont know if they dont have the money or not enough manpower, probably both of it.
.... and YES, I think ur right, the game will never be finished.
